Success Stories

Sena Installation

Sena has electricity but no telephone.

This is the first remote site which REMCU team installed “from scratch”; they had no HF radio site before we arrived. The complete installation, from unpacking the components, to contacting Ndola base, took Nzola & Rob 10 hours. Ndola answered on first call!

A New Day Dawns in Communications for Sena.

Rob was up early the day after we installed at Sena, since he had to leave at 06:00. He took this photo of the new HF Radio Antenna as the sun came over the horizon (at 04:30). Nzola remained for another week, installing at Kapasseni (also from scratch), and continuing to train at both clinics.
